Recently I spoke to the Realtors at a real estate office on the importance on them keeping in touch with the people who buy or sell houses with them. I had a family member recently purchase a house, who did they use? Well his father bought a house 2 years ago and the Realtor has sent him and his wife birthday cards, anniversary cards, holiday cards, etc., she kept her name on the top of his mind. So, when this young man was ready to purchase a home, he asked his dad who to buy through, his dad didn’t hesitate, he knew who to recommend. For less than $10 a year this Realtor as client for life who refers her every chance he gets. Sounds like a good business strategy to me!
